PASSPORT TO ADVENTURE
This summer the Villa Park Historical Society will again participate in the “Passport To Adventure Program” for children ages 4 to 12. “Passport Books” will be (free of charge) at our Museum, and at various other area museums, nature centers, etc. Each museum or nature center has a page in the books with a space for a “passport stamp” The program is designed to encourage children and their families to visit various locations.
How does it work?
Children begin by visiting a local museum or nature center to obtain a passport
book. Available June 1 st .
Children should visit five (5) or more, sites listed in the passport book. At each site they receive an activity or (quiz) sheet.
At the end of the activity, participants get their passport books stamped.
Participants bring their completed passport books to the location stamped on the inside front cover of the book by the end of September to receive their prizes.
Those visiting five (5) sites will receive a Certificate of Participation. Those visiting seven (7) sites will receive a Certificate and an additional prize. For information call 941-0223
