PASSPORT TO ADVENTURE


This summer the Villa Park Historical Society will again participate in the “Passport To Adventure Program” for children ages 4 to 12. “Passport Books” will be (free of charge) at our Museum, and at various other area museums, nature centers, etc. Each museum or nature center has a page in the books with a space for a “passport stamp” The program is designed to encourage children and their families to visit various locations.


How does it work?

 

•  Children begin by visiting a local museum or nature center to obtain a passport

book. Available June 1 st .


•  Children should visit five (5) or more, sites listed in the passport book. At each site they receive an activity or (quiz) sheet.


•  At the end of the activity, participants get their passport books stamped.


•  Participants bring their completed passport books to the location stamped on the inside front cover of the book by the end of September to receive their prizes.


•  Those visiting five (5) sites will receive a Certificate of Participation. Those visiting seven (7) sites will receive a Certificate and an additional prize. For information call 941-0223
